Birch Plywood

The advantages of birch plywood are strength, flexibility and durability. Birch plywood is a relatively light material that allows it to be used in a variety of constructions and simplifies processing. The material is suitable for use in a wide range of temperatures both outdoors and indoors.

The surface of birch plywood sheet has a very beautiful natural wood texture, thanks to which this material is also widely used in interior design and various decorative solutions.

Birch plywood is a safe material for both human health and nature.

Birch Plywood is made of several glued veneer sheets depends on thickness required. Wood grains of adjoined veneer sheets can have perpendicular or lop-sided (when wood grains are along one side) dispositions. The number of veneer sheets varies from 3 to 23 depends on thickness.
This plywood performs best in demanding special building applications and wherever high strength is required. Birch Plywood is very strong and smooth surfaced. It is particularly well suited to design applications requiring good strength and stiffness characteristics. This plywood provides a unique combination of strength, flexibility and a perfect look in a light-colored range.
Thermoreactive glues phenol-formaldehyde and cabamide are used in birch plywood production.

„Exterior“ and „Interior“ birch plywood
Plywood is subdivided by degree of moisture resistance for:

  • MR (interior) – moisture resistant
  • WBP (exterior) – waterproof

Sanded and not sanded birch plywood
Also plywood is subdivided by sanding of face veneers for:

  • Not sanded – NS
  • Sanded one side – S1S
  • Sanded two sides – S2S
